How to convert png to pdf without losing quality?

It is possible to convert a bunch of png files into a pdf folder with minimum loss of quality. Whenever you create a pdf file, there is always a control on how the embedding of image file into pdf format works. Sometimes you can also control the actual number of pixels, or the extent of downsampling that occurs in png to pdf converters. This requires a certain understanding of the settings related to cooler conversion and file compression. There are many other factors that provide the variation to how a png to a pdf conversion happens, but these are the two most crucial factors to remember.
Most of the default settings in acrobat causes the images to lose quality by jpg compression when you change png to a pdf. This does change the pixel data. If the image is black and white or in greyscale, there are many other options in the settings that has minimal loss of pixel color fidelity.
·       What are the compression options in Adobe Acrobat?
There are five options in acrobat that range from maximum quality/minimal compression and low quality/maximum compression.
The loss of details that happen in the Maximum and High quality options are very slight and unnoticeable. Most people can’t even recognize at a glance that an image has been compressed.
However at minimum and low settings the image might become distorted, blocky and have a mosaic look.
The medium quality setting is usually the best in terms of compressing the file, thereby reducing size, while still maintaining enough quality to produce higher quality images.
·       What is the page size you are expecting?
When converting png to a pdf, if the png you are using is of low resolution, the adobe acrobat has limited options in terms of how much quality can be preserved. If you expect a different page size which has a better resolution at a lower size, you might probably need to resave the same png at a much higher resolution.  You can do so by using the preflight functionality of Acrobat Pro to quickly modify the resolution inside the pdf.
To ensure acrobat does not lower the image quality of the png you are using, verify the resolution used in Acrobat preferences. The default setting is usually set to show the image on a big scale when you are viewing it at 100%. 72ppi is the size at which the images are shown at its own form.
